Habik Privacy Policy

Effective July 5, 2026

Habik: Life Manager ("Habik") is built to keep your data yours. This policy explains what the app stores, what leaves your device, and the choices you have. The short version: your data lives on your phone, an account is optional, we never sell your data or share it with third parties for their own use, and there are no ads or trackers.

Data stored on your device

Everything you do in Habik — your selected activities, weekly plans, completed tasks, streaks, fasting and meditation sessions, weight entries, projects and milestones, and to-do items, is stored locally on your device. The app works fully offline.

Data we collect

If you create an account, we collect:

  • Account information. Your email address and a unique user identifier, used only to sign you in. If you use Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In, we receive the identifier (and email, if you share it) those services provide.
  • Cloud backup. A copy of your app data (the items listed above) and your optional profile name and photo, so your progress can be restored if you reinstall the app or switch phones.

Backups are stored with Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication) on Google Cloud infrastructure, protected in transit by HTTPS. Firebase acts only as a service provider and does not use your data for its own purposes.

Data we don't collect

  • No advertising, ad identifiers, or cross-app tracking.
  • No analytics that profile you, and no sale of data — ever.
  • No location data.
  • No access to Apple Health / HealthKit.
  • Without an account, nothing personal leaves your device at all.

Notifications

Habik uses local notifications only (for example, when a fasting or meditation timer completes). These are scheduled on your device and never go through a server. You can revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.

Deleting your data

You're in control, directly from the app's Settings tab:

  • Delete All Data erases your local data and your cloud backup.
  • Delete Account permanently removes your account and everything associated with it from our systems.

Deleting the app from your phone removes all local data. If you had an account, you can also email us (below) to request deletion.

Children

Habik is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this page with a new effective date.
